IMPORTANT OF EMPLOYEE MOTIVATION.

IMPORTANT OF EMPLOYEE MOTIVATION.

Motivation is an important factor in human life. Helpful environment is created by motivation. It helps to change the attitudes. Motivation is very important in achieving success in any organization (Geomani 2012). Motivated employees don't require instruction on how to perform task and they are initiative who are willing to take on new responsibilities (Vindhya et al. 2019).

Positive motivation initiates employees to work in a more efficiently and improve their skills and performance. Negative motivation aims to control negative efforts at work and tries to create fear in the worker (Jain et al. 2019). Effective motivational initiatives of employees can gain more efficient by creating a good organizational culture (Mensah et al. 2016). More motivated employees Helps to increase earnings and income in organization with incentives in a profit-sharing program (Vindhya 2019).

For an example I worked for automobile company, in there from the time a vehicle is handed over to a mechanic to the end of its maintenance process, a period is given for the process.  If the mechanic completes the process in less time, the company gives him an allowance for the remaining time.

Rather than forcing the mechanics to work, they do the process very quickly and accurately by motivating them.  The mind of the employees also works happily. Also, more vehicles can be completed and delivered to customers in less time. Then can get a very good customer satisfaction.

Motivation affects the achievement of the following organizational goals and objectives. therefore, organizations are in need of motivated employees (Varma 2017).

·         An increased level of efficiency.
·         Creating an environment that is focused on performance, innovation and creativity.
·         improve organizational capability to handle uncertain challenges.
·         “Unified direction of the group/Teams”.
·         High organizational commitment.
·         Challenges in optimal utilization of resources.
·         retention of employee for stable and sustained manpower supply.

Motivated employees make sure (Vindhya et al.2019).,

  • ·         The organization has a positive atmosphere.
  • ·         Employees are pleasure and feel secure at work.
  • ·         make sure customers are pleasure.
  • ·         They always get better results.

Effect for performance.

Productivity is determined not only by the employee's qualifications, knowledge, experience or skills, but motivation plays a main role in determining the employee's productivity. (Okine 2021). Motivated employees also noted that performance is high. (Okine et al. 2021)

Figure 2.01 Theoretical Framework.

 Source :( Agrawal & Singhal 2021).

Figure 2.01 shows, when employees are motivated through rewards and recognition such as fair salary for employees, bonuses, good leadership, inspiration, appreciation, it builds a relationship with the organization's performance.  Therefore, productivity and outcome are built in relation to performance.

    1. Thanks for the feedback. Motivation strategy helps to carry out the daily tasks of an organization and to motivate employees for their goals. These are not some simple words used to describe goals. A strategy includes a set of skills to be desired and achieved (Palmer, 2005).

  2. Well explained.
Motivation is critical for any business because of the benefits it can provide. When employees are driven to do their tasks, the enterprise begins to thrive since everyone is doing their best to complete their tasks. Motivation can help a worker achieve his or her personal goals and can aid in an individual's self-development. A precise combination of competence and willingness is required in an employee. Such balance can only be attained through motivation and can lead to increased productivity, lower operational costs, and overall efficiency improvements (Ganta, 2014).

  4. Good Post Nonali, According to Chandrakant Varma(2018) Every successful organization is backed by a committed employee base, and the commitment is the outcome of motivation and job satisfaction. It is the energy that compels employees towards organizational objective. It would be impossible for the organization to generate performance without commitment.
